Thank you for all the support to WorldCiC:
* We thank all the thousands of children and young people for your creative spirit in the many arts and stage presentations and your hard work and commitment to develop the methods and means of cooperating and sharing with one another.

* Teachers and leaders! We thank you for your support of the children. Without your dedication and interest the children could not be with us. Thank you for your cooperation in searching out and implementing innovative approaches to learning - so essential in the development of fresh modes of educating our young!

* An enormous thank you to the City of Stockholm for hosting the event. It was a unique and inspired decision when all six political parties of Stockholm agreed to host the event. There are many people I wish to recognize. Among these I want to mention Mr. Barry Andersson, Lord Mayor of Stockholm, hosting the Welcoming party, the Mayor’s meeting and presenting the WorldCiC trophy to the City of Kampala. Another warm thank you goes to the leaders of all the political parties in the City of Stockholm for your participation in the Opening Ceremony and the contribution of your common statement to the children. We are also happy for the unanimous participation of all political parties in the inauguration of the Children’s Meeting Place in the interior yard of  the Stockholm City Hall.

* We wish to thank all Mayors! Within your busy schedules you still committed yourselves to join for three days and to take the time to listen and learn from children. Thank you for your dedicated concern for children and the Promise to the Future. Your involvement during the WorldCiC 2006 will inspire participation from many other city leaders in the years to come.

* Astronauts Loren Acton, Roger Crouch and cosmonaut Dumitru Dorin Prunariu, we thank you for all your support and participation! Your unique view of our world added an exciting new avenue of experience to the WorldCiC and broadened the spectrum of learning when combined with the Roots Perspective from the Indigenous people joining from four continents.

* We thank all the experts and lecturers! Thank you for coming and sharing your professional skills contributing time and personal concern with both the children and adults. We want to thank you for your personal guidance, dialogues with councillors, principal of schools, teachers and children.

* We are very honoured by the Opening addresses from Ms Lena Sommestad, Minister for the Environment, Ministry of Sustainable Development (Sweden), Mr. Michael Williams, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Ms Marilyn Mosley, President of UNEP Global 500 Forum.

* We are very happy for the warm welcoming by Mr. Erik Nilsson, Vice Mayor, responsible for education seeing the WorldCiC as en excellent example of cooperation in practice.

* A special thank you to the Swedish Parliament through The Speaker Mr. Björn von Sydow and the vice Speaker of the Parliament Ms. Helena Höij.

* The Vice Chairman of the European Commission Ms. Margot Wallström contributed both to the Night building team and with a thank you to the children making a wish to establish a Children’s Meeting Place at the European Commission. Thank you!

* A special message focusing on the need for enough and secure water was sent to the WorldCiC by Mr. Jan Eliasson, Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs and President of UN General Assembly.

* We also want to thank Stockholm City Museum, the Stockholm Concert Hall and KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) for the use of their premises as meeting-places and rooms for lectures. A special thank you to the Children’s Ombudsman for the contribution of a side seminar.

* A warm thank you to our Advisory group, who guided us over many obstacles, creating a safe and nourishing environment for the children to feel comfortable throughout the event!

* A thank you to the independent scientists of the Stockholm University and Karolinska Institutet who developed a questionnaire for further analysis of the WorldCiC
