Children’s Meeting Places and Networking in the Lake Victoria Region; Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania had two major activities;
1: Inauguration of the Children’s Meeting Places in five cities of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The Mayor together with Councilors interacted with children, listened to their concerns and discussed future activities.
2: A 3-day seminar in the city of Entebbe, Uganda, with the aim of sharing visions, ideas and practical work between cities and municipalities of the Lake Victoria and the Baltic Sea regions and give views of the Rights of the Child and Sustainable Development.
