ICIBS has a general agenda for its paper discussions which we can apply here for the paper discussion of John Todd and Beth Josephson. This paper discussion will run for 4 weeks. The first week will be for "author-audience" interactions and the remaining weeks is for general paper discussion.

"author-audience"  interactions allows the author to convey she/his message to the audience and for the audience to interact with questions and comments to the authors.  This interaction may continue through the remaining 3 weeks too if there are questions to the authors on their paper.

"general paper discussion" includes general information exchange and sharing of experiences by the authors and audience on the subject of the paper. For example we may compare the authors work with other similar systems in Scandinavia and other countries, discuss the science and technology of the system, etc..

One common misuse or misintepretation of the use of this mailing list is that some participants use it just as a general newsgroup or forum to solicit information for their own projects or to post information about their projects which may be totally outside the subject of the paper. To screen and to delete such messages, this list will be edited. The editor will also filter junk mail and other wrongly addressed messages.  Messages may also be edited (minor changes only) without notification of the sender, otherwise the message will be returned with suggestions from the editor.
