Hi Jacky,

..(cut)....

Getting creative; yes, that's exactly what we need! The points you are
mentioning are not so new for me, as I'm a technician in solar and
alternative energies, though in the end the diploma was only for the solar
part, besides not having any practical experience. That's one of the
reasons why the idea of an integrated biosystem came up, but with the
limitation that I personally am not prepared to do it all alone. Maybe with
just the help of somebody dedicated, by internet, but I'm not sure. In the
meantime I developed a certain friendship with Dr. Horst Doelle, as we are
both originally from the same part of Germany, and let's see if somehow he
can help me along, even if it's just telling me with whom to communicate, etc.

Regarding the digestor, etc., in the moment we don't even have begun the
construction of the orphanage; we are still in the planning stage. Water
will be available, but scarce; therefore I want to recycle it somehow.
Cowdung for the digestor will be imported from the corrals, which don't
know what to do with it. And our cooking fuel will be the biogas we
produce. Basically the idea is, to make it right from the beginning, as any
posterior correction would cost extra money. And as donations will also be
scarce all the time, an integrated biosystem would combine nicely all the
needs and byproducts in one economically sustainable production cycle.

Also I was thinking that a good solution to our problems could produce two
benefits: it would be an example which others might want to copy, and
wanting to learn from us, we could charge them a fee for the courses or
classes. Both situations would give credit and money to the orphanage. So
I'm looking for a really holistic, integrated solution.

When you announced that you were looking for new activities, you also
mentioned your relations and connections. Ok, now to the trickiest part: I
know that there are funds dedicated to execute projects like ours, but the
responsible people are very much afraid of opportunists who only want the
money for their personal interests. But if they have the possibility to
check out if the applicants are for real, money begins to flow. Now, are
you aware of any organization, foundation, etc. which has the possibility
to examine us "under the magnifying glass", so to decide if they are
willing to help us with the orphanage/integrated biosystem? Quite frankly,
that's the most difficult part for me, as through the discussion groups,
etc. I already gathered some possible technical help, but nothing regarding funding.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Uwe
