I am not familiar with the compost pit system. There are two such concrete
tanks that serve as the compost pits in your system.

My reference is the compost toilet system. This is a "dry" toilet system.

In your compost pit system, I imagine that you will put plant materials
into the pit and then you let the effluent flow into this pit. At a certain
point you will have water logged conditions even if you have the compost
pit covered to protect it from rain.

Could you please elaborate on the operation of this sub-system.
