Created by children in Globetree’s Future Meeting in 1990, the Uniting Water Ceremony travels the world and was performed at a number of international meetings on water and the environment. In the ceremony, children from all over the world unite water from their home countries in a beautiful crystal bowl. Once the water is in the bowl the children read the Uniting Water Message to the people at the meeting. The children’s message, in all its simplicity, has proved to be an effective way to influence the tone, if not the contents of the discussions at those conferences.

The Uniting Water Ceremony exemplifies an inspiring approach to help people recall, in the depth of their hearts, what is important for life and the future. The United Nations has already expressed its interest to receive the crystal bowl once water has been collected from all Nations of the World.
