On the 19th – 21st of September children and youth from different parts of the world are inaugurating a Children’s Meeting Place at UN in Nairobi, Kenya.
This is a historical event. It is the first time in history that children from all over the world get a permanent meeting place at the UN. The inauguration of the Children’s Meeting Place in Nairobi was planned to be bridged with the special Children’s Assembly in New York.

Due to the tragedy in the USA the Children’s Assembly in New York could not take place as planned. This makes the children’s meeting in Nairobi even more important. The thoughts, dreams and visions of our young generation brings us hope and trust for the future.
