 Report : Nov 2008-Jan 2009)
INTRODUCTION
the above project was started last year November 2008 with fifteen rabbits. Unfortunately two of them were eaten by dogs because the fence was not properly done, but Mr Kenyatta carried the burden and repaired it, so far they are safe. Afterwards we received five rabbits from Mr Jacky which replaced the two that were eaten by the dogs. The management is putting a lot of effort to see to it, the project moves smoothly and its purpose and goals are fulfilled. We are trusting in God that we will succeed. Students feed the rabbits thrice i.e. morning, afternoon and evening, they also go ahead and clean the cages after two days. We received other three rabbits, that they could not withstand the climate, two of them died. We now have twenty one rabbits in total and they are doing well. Otherwise our agriculture students are very happy because they are learning a lot through the project. Two rabbits gave birth but the 11 young ones died due to cold. We are asking for some advice on how we can overcome the situation, so that we can enjoy the increase and progress of our project cause there is no growth without increase.
CONCLUSION
Students are suggesting if we can give special care to pregnant rabbits, by making their cages warm and separating them from others. Finally we would like to appreciate Mr. Jacky for introducing the project in our school may God bless you and see you through in everything.

19 Dec 2009: Photos showing changes in cages (Nov 2008, Feb 2009, Dec 2009)

Comments:
Nov 2008: open space to enable easy cleaning of the feeding area
Feb 2009: removable mesh wire used
Dec 2009: except for a small open space to put feed into the cage, all structures were fixed. Cleaning is hindered and sometimes difficult to reach the rabbits inside the cage.
