KWWPC project has been suspended because it was not launched on 05 July 2008.

The World Environment Day Celebration was honored by the Minister of Environment with performances by the Tree Theatre Group and other children. Mrs Margaret Tuhumwire (Director of Entebbe Women Association) was given a certificate in recognition for her contribution  of 50,000 seedlings and organising the tree planting at Kololo Park.

Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Kampala proposed the project and were to follow-up with the Minister for a formal approval. This was unfortunately not done and they also failed to follow-up after July 05.

Primary partners and associates are disappointed and shelved the project.
