Joseph Njoroge - 28 years old
Joseph was also a street boy who did drugs of all kinds including injecting them in his veins. Joseph was taken to Muli's Childrens home where Moses was a teacher. He slipped in and out of the home and Moses had to go to the streets many times to get him. That was in 1988. He succeeded in the program and went to college from 2003 where he got a diploma in mechanical engineering. While at the Children´s Home, he was also the music teacher. In 2006 he got a job as a machine operator in an indusrial area. He worked there for 6 months. He visted Childrens Garden where he met Moses again after many years.
Then Joseph left his job and joined Childrens Garden. He is now the deputy headteacher at the school. His functions are flexible and he also teaches sports and martial arts.
Future
Joseph´s personal ambitions are to lead a simple comfortable life and get more responsibilty. He is gaining experiences to use in the future. His ambitions on Children´s Garden are not to make more buildings or things like that, but he wants more children to tell a story like his - that they came out of the streets and are living independently and handling responsibilities.
