| Amanda Löfgren YWPA- scholarship Congratulations Amanda!
Amanda Löfgren from Kungsholmen upper secondary school, International program, has received a YWPA- scholarship for her concern for a better world and her faith to influence people. Amanda has joined Globetree program and projects since 3 years in Sweden, Kenya and Uganda. Amanda will use her scholarship to join the Globetree Study Tour to Kenya in November this year.
Five Zonta clubs in Stockholm choose her and two other pupils from Kungsholmen, Felicia Dahlquist and Anna Rosén, to receive this year’s YWPA-scholarship.
Zonta International is a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. The YWPA-scholarship was founded to encourage and support young women between 16 and 18 years; to work, in addition to the school work, with human rights, equality, environmental, sustainability and not least for women and children in a global perspective. |
